Mobile Mark MIMO Antennas Include 6 Connections For Multiple Frequencies
Itasca, IL – November 30, 2016 – Wireless equipment and systems in today’s world require multiple inputs and multiple outputs (also known as MIMO) to provide combined functionality for different wireless frequencies. For instance, router units designed for fleet vehicles often have multiple connections for LTE Cellular, WiFi, and GPS to provide these services for fleet management. Routers designed for multiple wireless frequencies require reliable high performance MIMO antennas like Mobile Mark’s LTM601 Multi-band Diversity antenna to deliver the best possible signal regardless of location.
The LTM601 has a total of six connections: two connections for LTE Cellular, three connections for WiFi, and one GPS connection. The two LTE Cellular connections operate at 694 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2170 MHz. Cables three through five provide WiFi functionality at 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 4.9 to 6.0 GHz. Cable six is reserved for GPS capability at 1575 MHz or optional Glonass at 1612 MHz. Gain for all of the antenna elements ranges from 4 to 5 dBi.
This antenna terminates with SMA plugs for all connections by default, and has 15 feet of RF-195 cable for cables one through five and 15 feet of RG-174 for cable six. Custom cable lengths and connector options are available for customers who need something specific. The radome is made from the same UV Inhibitive ASA plastic used in all Mobile Mark LTM antennas. The LTM601 passes several standards for shock and vibration, as well as the IP67 water ingress rating.
When dealing with multiple wireless connections, customers can expect MIMO antennas like Mobile Mark’s LTM601 to deliver quality performance with combined elements for your wireless projects using LTE, WiFi, and GPS.
