Schiller Park, IL, October 10, 2013 – The most efficient In-building WiFi networks rely on 802.11n & 802.11ac modems that incorporate MIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) electrical designs. These multi-element designs are capable of handling large volumes of data throughput, but they must be paired with multi-element antennas.

Mobile Mark’s CMD-W Series Ceiling Mount Antennas can provide a network of efficient WiFi MIMO network coverage throughout a building. These ceiling mount antennas have excellent performance characteristics and perform well across the entire WiFi frequency bands.

WiFi MIMO antennas typically contain 3 antenna elements, but can be configured for 2 elements. Each element covers the same spectrum (2.4-2.5 & 4.9-6.0 GHz) and offers the same gain. The CMD-W ceiling mount antennas provide 4 dBi gain on each element.

The antennas are available with either a white or black radome. The white radome is particularly appropriate for Ceiling Mount Antenna applications where it will blend in well with the ceiling panels. The attractive, low profile CMD-W Ceiling Mount measures only 3.5” x 1.5” (89 mm x 38 mm) and is configures with flame retardant cables.

The antenna is equipped with a sufficient metal ground plane which provides the necessary ground to guarantee that the antenna will perform optimally as a ceiling mount antenna.

The CMD-W antennas are typically built with RF-195FR flame retardant cable and each cable terminates with an SMA Plug (male) connector. Cable Assemblies can be customized to different lengths to facilitate the installation of the ceiling mount antennas.
