High Gain 2xLTE MIMO Omni-Directional Antenna For Cellular Infrastructure & FirstNet Roll-Outs Introduced By Mobile Mark
Itasca, IL – November 28, 2018 — Mobile Mark introduces a new Omni-directional Antenna designed to be part of a Cellular Infrastructure for M2M communications, IoT networks and FirstNet roll-outs. The new antenna (model #: DOD7-700/2700) features two elements and two connector feeds for all Cellular & LTE applications.
The antenna uses a stacked MIMO design with elements positioned vertically within the antenna radome. Separate feeds connect with each element with two N-jack connectors exiting the base of the antenna. The antenna configuration is designed to help eliminate multipath & reflection.
The antenna offers wideband frequency coverage from 694-960 & 1700-2700 MHz, including 4G LTE 700 MHz, 3G Cellular 850 & 1900 MHz, AWS 1.7 & 2.1 GHz, and High Frequency LTE 2.5-2.7 GHz.
The DOD7-700/2700 offers outstanding performance across the frequency bands, featuring 5 dBi gain across the lower band, 694-960 MHz; and 7 dBi gain across the upper band, 1700-2700 MHz. The vertical beamwidth, at -3 dB, ranges from 25° on lower band to 30° on upper band.
This heavy-duty infrastructure antenna measures 50.5” H x 2” D (128.3 cm x 5.8cm) and weighs about 3.7lbs. (1.67 kg) including the mount. The antenna has a wind survivability of 200 mph and can handle 20 Watts of power.
Michael Berry, Mobile Mark’s CEO & President pointed out, “The DOD7-700/2700 is a natural companion for our PND10-700/2700 Panel Antenna that provides outstanding 2xLTE MIMO performance as a directional antenna. We are particularly proud of the fact that both of these antennas are designed and manufactured in our Itasca, Illinois factory.”
Heavy duty mounting hardware is provided with the antenna. The DOD7-700/2700 2xLTE MIMO Antenna comes with dual heavy-duty mounting clamps that can accommodate pipes ranging in size from 1” to 2.5” (2.5cm to 6.4cm) outside diameter.
The DOD7-700/2700 is ideal for industrial settings or remote locations. It can also be used for network fill-in or as point-to-multipoint network set-up.
This “Made-in-the-USA” antenna for Cellular Infrastructure & FirstNet roll-outs is designed and manufactured in our Itasca, Illinois facility. It will meet Buy America purchasing requirements.
