Itasca, IL – May 6, 2019 — Mobile Mark Antenna Solutions has introduced a new FirstNet & Multiband Fleet Management Mobile Antenna in the sleek, aerodynamic “MaxFin” housing. The MXF702 features a stylish combination of matte & polished finish and provides a sleek, high-tech look on the vehicle.

This multiband antenna contains up to seven antenna elements: 2xLTE, 4xWiFi and 1xGPS. The antenna elements are very broad banded with the FirstNet & LTE element covering 694-960 & 1710-2750 MHz. The four dual-band WiFi elements cover both 2.4-2.5 & 4.9-6.0 GHz, and the GNSS element covers either GPS or combined GPS & Glonass.

The antenna is attractive enough to be used on commercial or consumer vehicles, wherever fleet management and multiband coverage are required. The MXF702 offers solid performance across the band. The antenna can handle up to 10 Watts of power and meets IPx7 Water Ingress rating.

All seven elements fit in this slim Fin-style radome that measures only 7 ½” long x 2 ¼” wide by 2 ½” tall (19 cm x 5.7 cm x 6.4 cm). Public Safety officials will appreciate the fact this FirstNet-ready antenna is narrow enough to fit between the roof ridges on a Ford Interceptor Utility, or on other vehicles with height or width restrictions.

The MXF702 antenna is surface mounted with a single thru-hole installation. The stud size is 7/8-20 thread, and it mounts to surfaces up to .2” (5 mm) thick. The antenna is typically supplied with 15 feet (4.5m) of RG-58 cable and terminated with an SMA plug. Custom configurations are available.

This “Made-in-the-USA” antenna is designed and manufactured in our Itasca, Illinois facility. It will meet Buy America purchasing requirements.
